Introducing our seasonal premiere: a unique blend of Papua New Guinea's Baroida Estate and Guatemala's Axola Co-op Women Produced coffee. Baroida, nestled in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, contributes its legacy of innovative natural processing and rich volcanic soil. From Guatemala, Axola, a women-led cooperative, adds washed beans cultivated in pristine mountain waters. This blend marries strawberry jam, milk chocolate, and a hint of key lime, crafting a profile rich in flavor and complexity.
Each sip supports sustainable farming practices that enhance environmental health and community prosperity. This organic luxury not only embodies eco-friendly excellence but also champions gender equality and community health, making each cup a testament to sustainability and social responsibility.
GUATEMALA AXOLA CO-OP WOMEN PRODUCED
Founded in 1989, this women-led cooperative now comprises 150 members and holds the 'Con Manos de Mujer' certification, emphasizing economic empowerment through sustainable farming. This meticulously washed, sun-dried dark roast combines deep chocolate, ripe berries, and a hint of spice, reflecting high-quality production standards. Each purchase supports gender equality and crucial social initiatives such as education and violence prevention, continuing a tradition of excellence and community impact since we first offered Axola's coffee.
COLOMBIA EA: TUMBAGA SUGARCANE DECAF
Introducing 'Colombia Tumbaga Sugarcane Decaf,' inspired by the ancient alloy symbolizing the celestial union of sun and moon. This decaf delights with notes of mission fig, milk chocolate, and brown sugar, finished with a syrupy touch. Our unique decaffeination process uses ethyl acetate from sugarcane, enhancing sweetness and body while maintaining the coffee’s intrinsic flavors.
Sourced from the diverse climates of Colombia—from Cauca's lush fields to Antioquia's rich terrains—this blend showcases the country's agricultural richness. Our partnership with Sucafina Colombia and commitment to sustainable practices support local coffee producers, offering consistency and accessibility.

Choose any one of three different blends for UCSF
1. Papua New Guinea and Guatemala Los Flores: This blend combines the earthy, full-bodied notes of Papua New Guinea coffee with the bright, floral characteristics of Guatemalan Los Flores. Expect a rich and complex flavor profile with hints of chocolate, tropical fruit, and a touch of spice. Its balanced acidity and smooth finish make it an excellent choice for those seeking a harmonious cup.
2. Ethiopian: Known for its distinctive floral and fruity notes, Ethiopian coffee delivers a vibrant and aromatic experience. The flavor profile often includes hints of jasmine, citrus, and berry, complemented by a bright acidity. This light to medium-bodied coffee is prized for its complexity and clean finish, making it a favorite among coffee aficionados.
3. Columbian EA Decaf: This decaffeinated coffee from Colombia maintains the rich and balanced flavors typical of Colombian beans, without the caffeine. It offers a smooth and medium-bodied taste with notes of caramel, nuts, and a subtle hint of fruit. The ethyl acetate (EA) process used for decaffeination preserves the coffee's natural flavors, ensuring a satisfying and enjoyable cup.
Why we started this campaign:
My name is Arun Verma, and earlier this year, I faced one of the biggest challenges of my life – a diagnosis of a brain tumor. During this daunting time, I was fortunate to be under the exceptional care of Dr. Mitch Berger and the dedicated team at the UCSF Brain Tumor Center. Their expertise, compassion, and groundbreaking treatments have not only given me hope but have significantly extended my life.
